RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in the study of coupled human-environment systems through the interdisciplinary study of both geo-ecological and socio-economic variables and the integration of earth observation and geographic information systems. I am also interested in the remote sensing of terrestrial ecosystems to assess the impacts of anthropogenic processes (agriculture, urbanization etc.) on species and their habitats; particularly the application of models such as land-use/land-cover, species distribution, and climate scenarios.
